Clermont’s Tayce Morgan Dominates the Yamaha YZ bLU cRU SuperFinale 85cc Class!
Exciting news for the Clermont community! Local rider Tayce Morgan brought home a thrilling victory in the Yamaha YZ bLU cRU SuperFinale 85cc class. What makes this win even more special is that Tayce’s hometown is just one city over from Moto-House MX, making this achievement a proud moment for the local motocross scene.
The race was packed with drama right from the start, as Tayce claimed the holeshot and led the opening lap. However, the first-time SuperFinale competitor faced a setback when he took a rough landing over one of Matterley Basin’s huge jumps, giving his rival Davie Dürr a chance to take the lead. But Tayce’s determination shone through—he quickly remounted and launched a fierce comeback. With just minutes left in the 15-minute-plus-three-lap race, Morgan closed in on Dürr and made a decisive pass to reclaim the lead, leaving Dürr to finish in second place.
Behind them, Kay Zijlstra (NED), Talon Medaglia (CAN), and Willads Gordon (DEN) battled for the final podium spot, but it was the Dutch rider who ultimately secured third place.
